When Jade is struck by jealousy over Kate and Kyle's blossoming connection, she confides in Sonya about her crush. Sonya urges Jade to tell Kyle how she feels about him. Meanwhile, Karl avoids spending time at home and wants to know why Susan is becoming so involved in Jim's affairs. Seeing the toll her commitment to Jim is taking on her, Karl urges Jim to stop asking so much of Susan.
