Bill is suspicious about goings-on at the work site. Lance and Amy warily approach a new relationship, yet keeping their feelings secret. Bill considers complaining about the building site, but doesn't want to put anyone else out of work. After much consideration he decides to confide in Lance, who clearly has other matters on his mind. Meanwhile, Harold and Madge attempt to compete with the new cafe bar.
